Additional comments

Due to an error during submission, the sequence shown in LT596154.1 displays a 873G>A rather than a 916G>A substitution. In a personal communication, the author sent the original electropherogram of exon 6 which shows that the substitutions are 916'GYA and 932A>G and that these subsitutions are part of a RHCE-like sequence segment that extends at least 136 bp into IVS6.
