This structure was established for DVa sample Hus and is also known as DVa (Hus). The notation used in the RhesusBase is identical to the numbering introduced by Avent & Reid 2000 and supported by the ISBT. The numbering of DV-like genotypes is incongruent in the literature. in the Human Blood Group mutation datatabase (accessed 2012-Jan-22), this allele is designated DVa 4, while DVa 2 is used for DV type 8.
