RHD(M295I) [RHD(M295I)]
RHD(M295I) occurs in two haplotypes with distinct phenotypes. In cDe haplotypes, it appears as weak D easily demonstrable in the indirect agglutination test. In the CDe haplotype, antigen density is much lower and the phenotype is borderline weak D / DEL (see RHD(M295I). For RHD(M295I) in the CDe haplotype, an allo-anti-D immunization has been documented. Phenotype and frequencies shown here relate to the cDe haplotype.
